I used to scream to my mother "I hate it here! I want to move back
to Pennsylvania!!"... That was when I was 10, a child, didn't learn
how to suck somethin' up. Now I look at myself and I'm sure damm
proud to be a Georgia peach. I used to make fun of people but now
my hand is the one helping them up from off the ground. I used to
think nothing of the military but now we have American flags
everywhere in my house (I love you Victor- Marines!). I used to
imitate country folks, but now I could say I am one. Even down to
the accent which sometimes just slips.
PEOPLE CHANGE. They grow up. Please don't judge anybody anymore...
Find the beauty in their
eyes and find their smile just right. When they give you the world
and just about everything you need, and they're down for that one
day, give them the world right back.
