Perfect
Life
Chapter 1
"Aubrey Collinsworth, I'd appreciate if you
could pay attention to my class for at least five
minutes." spoke Mr. Anderson in his strong and
bitter voice.
I looked up from my cell phone that I had been
texting Maya from.
Gosh, why did Mr. Anderson have to always be so
annoying?
I dropped my cell phone angrily into my tote
positioned by my feet on the floor.
"Thank you Miss. Collinsworth." he answered
satisfied.
I barely paid attention as he droned on and on about the
middle ages.
Who even cares what happened in China a million years
ago? Not me.
Finally the bell chimed, signaling the end of
class.
I met my long time boyfriend, Bryce by my
locker.
"Hey baby. How was history?" he asked with a
slight smirk.
He knows how much I hate that class so he makes a
point to ask everyday how it was.
"Just fantastic. Mr. Anderson is just a enjoyable as
usual." I sarcastically replied.
He smiled, showing off his extremely white
teeth.
"I better get to class. I don't think Mrs. Marks
would appreciate if I was late for the 3rd time this
week. Love you babe."
He leaned down and gave me a kiss.
I watched him walk down the hall until he turned down the
hallway that lead to the Math wing as I continued shoving
books in my locker.
I grabbed my tote and slammed my locker shut.
I didn't have any more classes the rest of the
day.
You get lots of perks if your family is as well known as
mine is.
I drive my car to Anthony's, an amazing restaurant
that I meet my mother at occasionally for
lunch.
Today was one of those days.
I slid into the booth across from my mother,
picking up the menu that was placed on the table.
I flipped through it until I decided on a chicken
salad with water. As soon as I placed the menu
back down on the table my mother starting
talking;
"So, how was your day at school honey?"
I sighed. This was going to be a long lunch.

continuing.**
