Cancer
Is My New Best Friend.
Chapter
9,
After 2 days I was released from
hospital.
Dallas and I made up 4 hours
after I shouted at him.
“Welcome home”
Georgia said smiling at me.
“Thanks” I said
walking weakly to the sofa. The doctors gave me a wheelchair but
I didn’t need that I have 2 legs that can walk
perfectly.
“Someone’s here to
see you” mom said in a good mood.
“Jesse” I smiled
weakly “What are you doing here?”
“I’ve come to make
sure you’re doing well” he said coming towards
me.
“Thanks” I smiled;
suddenly he pulled a bunch of flowers from behind his
back.
“You’re so
sweet” mom said getting the flowers of, of him and put them
in water.
“Jesse you shouldn’t
of” I smiled looking at his green eyes.
“It doesn’t end
there” he laughed.
“Oh what have you
done?” I said “You barely know me”
“That’s why I have
organized a date at the restaurant near the mall” he said
handing me a ticket.
“You didn’t need to
do all this” I smiled.
“I wanted to” he
laughed “Plus I like you”
“You should find someone
with hair” I said feeling my head.
“You have hair it’s
just not on your head” he chuckled “You’re
beautiful no matter what people say”
“You don’t need to be
nice to me just because I have cancer” I said biting my
lip.
“I’m not doing it
because you have cancer” Jesse said holding my hand
“Cancer or no cancer I like you”
I remained quiet allowing the
silence to fill in the room.
I let out a quick smile and
rested my head on the sofa arm.
I heard footsteps going
away.
I was getting feelings for
Jesse.
