Mistake,
Chapter 12,
I
waited outside for Chris.
“Hey beautiful” he said kissing
me again on the cheek, “I have something
planned”
“Like what?” I said, my eyes
connected to his.
“I’ve got a restaurant booked for
5.15pm, if you’re interested” he
smiled.
“O-okay” my voice said
shaky.
“What’s wrong?” he said
smiling.
“Uh nothing” I said smiling
“I’ve just uh never been on a date
before”
The smile on his face was something I would
never like to wipe off.
“Well then how about if we go shopping
and buy an outfit?” he said opening the car
door.
“I’ve got no money” I
sighed “I probably have a decent outfit at home
anyway”
“No no my treat” he said smiling,
a bit of me felt guilty but I knew that the slutty girls would
try and get money out of him not that I’m one of them of
course.

“Thanks for the clothes” I smiled
“I’ll pay you back when I get the
money”
“No need” he smiled kissing me,
this time on the lips.
My face blushed.
Once we got home I quickly changed into my
outfit and curled my hair.
I heard a beep outside and rushed outside to
see him sat in his car.
I got in and smiled.
“You look wonderful” he smiled. I
could tell he liked the outfit “You should wear it more to
school”
“I will do” I smiled; I never had
an outfit like this “Chris?”
“Yes Meg?” he
smiled.
“How come your mom takes drugs?”
I asked in a shakily voice.
“It was my dad’s death that
caused it she doesn’t do it every day though” he
smiled.
“Oh” I said focusing on the roads
“My mom does it every day”
“It’s alright not every parent is
perfect” he insisted.
He got that right.
