A disease where
you see numbers and or letters in a different way than it really
is. It's different for everyone. For me, I mess up my
numbers. I'll admit I'll see a joke about Dyslexia
and I'll laugh. It's just a joke and it's funny; no
big deal. But when people call me stupid, or laugh at me in class
for constantly saying the wrong numbers, it hurts. No adults know
about my condition, because I've hid it all my life. Having
people tell me to "Stop acting stupid" really hurts my
feelings, because I'm not acting 'stupid.' I hate
having to try harder than everyone else just to get lower grades
when they aren't even trying. But I look at all the things
I've accomplished with my dyslexia, and I realize it's
only made me stronger. I know God wouldn't give me anything I
couldn't handle, but I wish he didn't trust me so
much.

Emily, you're perfect the way you are. Whoever makes fun of you can screw them selves. You're amazing and are really smart, you're dyslexia isn't even bad. You can over come any thing and everything. Don't worry about what other people think. But you should probably let the teachers know atleast so they can help you out and give you a break. Everything happens for a reason, I guess this is just a silly challenge you have to over come. Don't let anyone hold you down, shoot for the stars and don't give yourself low expectations. You're great.
