Indie means independence or independent.
Indie is not people
claiming to listen to non mainstream music
(when
they obviously do) and wearing the same knitted
'hipster'
jumpers
whilst saying they are 'original' when
in reality,
they all just look
the same.

Some of the nicest people i've met could be considered "Hipster" , they are so unique & have their own qwirks. They are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Maybe because they aren't like the rest of society. Would you rather me stand out while I wear a jumper, or look like everyone else wearing the words hollister proudly on my chest..just saying(:
