Matts lips locked with mine, and I
couldn't believe it. I shoved him away,
completely exasperated.
"What are you doing?" I asked
harshly. He bit his lip, and stared at the
ground.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have
done that. Please don't tell Kyle."
Matt begged. I shook my head, pinched the
bridge of my nose.
"Matt, why did you do that?" My
eyes were welling up with tears, that were
threatening to spill over. Matt crossed his
arms, and glanced at me.
"You shouldn't be with Kyle.
He's a douche bag." Matt admitted. I
stared at him dumbfoundedly, crossing my
arms.
"Why not?" I asked, stepping closer
to him.
"Because, you......" He paused for
a minute, brushing my hair back behind my
ear. "You should be with me. I love
you." He finished. I looked into his
bright blue eyes, and all I saw was emotion.
I knew he wasn't lying. He inched towards
me, and I wanted him to kiss me now. My eyes
flickered down to his lips, and I so badly
wanted them to come in contact with mine. He
rested his forhead on mine. "I'm
sorry." He said. He pulled back, and
began to leave.
"Wait." I said, grabbing his arm
and pulling him back toward me."If I
tell you something, will you promise to keep
it to yourself?" I asked. Matt nodded
his head. "I-I love you too." I
said, smashing my lips against
his.
