Hear my cries.
  chapter 3 // emily1534

I sat back in my seat and looked up at Brian. He shot me a look that told me to shut up. "Sorry," I said to him shyly. I flipped threw the book looking at the pages. It looked so long and boring and I did not know how he expected us to finish it by next week. I threw the book lightly on my desk and looked back up at Brian who was now going on about grammar.
The rest of the day was slightly boring. After the bell rang at 3:00 I went to my locker, grabbed all of my stuff, and walked out of the door with my best friend Tanya, while realizing that a lot more snow had fallen since school started that morning. "Can you believe that new teacher? I don't think I'll be able to deal with him for this long." I looked up at her, acting like I had never seen him before in my life. Afterall, I didn't want her to know that he was my cousin. It would make things all weird from then on while in English class. She then replied, "I know, who makes junior high schoolers read To Kill A Mockingbird in a week?! That is a really big, hard to understand book. Oh well. I probably won't even do it."
We reached my house finally, which was only a half a mile from the school, but felt like 10. "Brr, it's cold," I said to Tanya. "Let's go inside and get some hot chocolate or something." I walked in my house, Tanya following close behind me, and we threw our bags down on the ground in my room and then headed out to the kitchen to look for some food.
