Technically, I believe your horse would be the athlete, and the action of horseback riding isn't really a sport. And really sports are all pretty equal. I mean a) lifting weights and hay barrels/water buckets is kinda the same thing. b) riding is probably eaiser then running, c) the horse jumps the fences there, so can't really compare. d) at least your animal listens to you, don't even get me started on this one, e) you play for about an hour, so that's like an hour of non stop bring it on all weekend long, while you have two minutes of bring it on all weekend long. I just don't see how you can compare sports.....

Its really not. you get on a 1200 pound horse and see what you can do. my horse jumps up to 5 feet. When you going into that jump you have to make sure your horse does not rush into it. you have too keep your blance, you have to remember the chourse, you use EVER musle in your body. and you have to worry about if you horse is going to rear up. A LOT of work. We do more than yall would ever think about doing.

The athlete is still me! You just RIDE the horse you don't RUN. You have to RIDE for 2 minutes soccer players RUN for a full 90 minutes. I'd like to see you do that :P

I'd like to see you do the work we do. I do it EVERYDAY after school. And not everyone has to ride for 2 min. There's other things that last for hours. I'd like to see you try cross country without passing out. The athlete is me. Idiot.

i feel the same way i do dance and people always say it isnt a sport..my cousin does competitive gorseback riding and i think its a really challenging sport that you have to be really good skilled to be able to do

Okay well other sports are just as challenging... I work over 6 hours a day at soccer just at the end of the day to tell myself i'm not good enough..
