My head is pounding. I rub my eyes and sit up. I'm in a bed. It's not my bed though. I look around the room. A tiny little bedroom with pale blue walls surrounds me. There's photographs of beaches and palm trees along the walls. The only light comes from the sunlight streaming through the window. Nothing about this room seems familiar to me. I grab my phone from the bedside table. Four missed calls. I'm about to check my messages when I realize I'm not alone. There's someone stirring under the blanket next to me.
I hadn't even noticed him until now. He rolls over and stares at me. His eyes are a beautiful deep blue, like the ocean.
"Good morning, beautiful." he says in that sexy 'I just woke up' kind of voice.
"Chris, what happened last night?" I ask him.
He looks puzzled. "You don't remember?" I shake my head.
He sighs and then begins, "Jenna's party was last night. You came with Abby and Riley. You guys had already had a couple drinks by the time I got here. Abby threw up on my shoes. Riley passed out on the stairs. And you," he pauses "Well, you were being very friendly if you know what I mean." he gestures toward the floor.
I look down to see my clothes in a pile beside the bed. "Oh god, we didn't." He just shakes his head.
I climb out of the bed, throw on my clothes really fast not even paying attention to if they're on the right way, and storm out of the room. I step over the passed out bodies throughout the house until I make it to the front door. I'm about to walk outside when I see that Chris is right behind me.
"Chloe, wait! We should talk about this."
"We'll talk about it later. I have to go." and I slam the door behind me.
