infinity means i don't have to wonder why

and yet i'm
left here staring at the celling
infinity means i wish things were easier
infinity means i want things back the way they were

i guess what i'm saying is that this means a lot to me
it's stuck inside my memories
like best friend jokes and silly ring tones
summer heat and trying to figure out what to eat
and people complaining and it's always raining
but the one thing they have, they'll never know.
it's written on paper, it's floating on the sea
i know so many things that just aren't me
and this isn't my life, it's your life to change, to ruin,
to live all the way through
i never knew another person quite like you.
i love you even though, if you had to pick in any way
you would choose him over me any day
i miss some days, but i've grown and changed
and we can't go back to those playground days
i have my memories, it's all i have
i wish sometimes we could walk right back
i don't think your a bad guy, this isn't my business.

and taking a picture just to remember ya
and dates in my head i can't forget, like
june 15th
and june
20th
or the last time i saw you with a smile on your face
i miss those long talks, and webcam chats
i miss icons on myspace and having your back
i miss our family, this family. what we had
but i know now that i am walking forward and not looking back.
