The Mistake.
Chapter 11,
I
woke up the next day with a big old smile on my
face.
I put on a shirt and a pair of
shorts.
I opened my window, I felt like this day was
going to be great.
I caught the bus to school and looked to find
Chris.
My eyes scanned around to the building around
the corner where he was found with a blonde haired girl. The big
grin around my face was soon wiped off.
“Megan...this is what it looks
like” he said running after me “They wanted help with
homework”
“You looked closer then that” I
said looking at his green eyes.
“Look we’re just friends”
he said hugging me “You’re my
girlfriend”
“They’re better looking” I
sighed pulling my backpack on my shoulder.
“You’re beautiful stop being so
mean to yourself” he said holding onto both of my hands,
“Actually I was asking them if they knew of any good places
to eat”
“You don’t have to” I
smiled.
“I felt like it” he winked
“The bells gone”
We walked hand in hand while people’s
mouth started opening, I could feel that people were gossiping
‘The mistakes got a girlfriend’ I heard people
whisper.
While other people whispered
‘Who’d date her’.
I looked up at Chris then at everyone who was
staring.
“Ignore them” he whispered in my
ear.
“I can’t” I finally said
walking a little bit faster, I just wanted to get out of
here.
Just then Chris let go of my
hand.
“Look guys and um girls, I’m
dating Megan don’t like it?” he shouted down the
corridor. I let out a small smile inside, “You know where
to go”
I turned around but before I did Chris said
something that got me the goose bumps.
“Don’t judge someone until
you’ve walked in their shoes” Chris said walking back
towards me with that I’ve never felt so
happy.
“Well thanks” I finally said
walking to my first lesson of the day.
“Tell me if anyone says anything and
I’ll get them” he smiled pulling a piece of lose hair
behind my ear and kissed me on my cheek.

Sorry for not writing for so long, I've been busy with
assignments for college D: but now I don't have one till the
end of this month so expect more chapters
