Chapter 16
Noelle's POV

We went back down the stairs and I went straight into the kitchen, and sat down on the chair in front of Liam.  "Back." I said.  "Noticed." he laughed and put the towel back on my leg.  "You alright?" he asked Zayn as he walked in and leaned on the counter.  "Yeah." he responded and when Liam turned back to me Zayn made a face, making me laugh.  "Apparently you are too." he laughed and whipped Zayn's legs with the towel.  "Ow . . ." Zayn mumbled and I laughed again.

"Why haven't you been answering your phone?"  Julia came into the house,  "What happened to you?" she asked, shocked.  She came and sat on the couch next to me, looking in between the bandages that ran down my legs - Liam insisted.  "A little paparazzi trouble." I laughed it off.  "That's not a little." she said moving my hand off the space between the bandages.  "Okay, so you know how I fall a lot?" I asked and she looked at me, "Today was no different." all the boys started to laugh around me, and I heard Louis laugh the hardest from upstairs, it only made me laugh harder.  "Of course it was." she laughed and moved my hair around.  "Hey, hey, hey!  Mine!"

"Boys, boys, boys . . . and ladies." Louis ran down, taking the channel changer and flipping it to the local gossip channel.  "Watch!  And ha! I now know your name." I looked at him confused so he moved my head so I was staring at the t.v.  "You've recently been seen hanging out with the One Direction boys, but mostly 18 year old Zayn Malik.  Anything going on?"  "No, we're just friends." it showed me turn to smile at her.  "Well, you guys seem very friendly for just - Hey!" and then it cut off to the sleezy reporter.  "Well, if you ask me, her running away?  She's def hiding something." she winked at the screen.  "Does Zayn have anything to do with it?  Or is she telling the truth?  Maybe she isn't dating him, but what about the other Direction Boys?  Maybe one of the unavailable ones, like Liam and Louis.  Maybe it's a secret.  Who do you think out of Louis and Liam?"  "Well, Jessandra I'm thinking it's Liam!  I totally just think they make a better and cuter couple."  Louis slid down to sit next to me.  "Maybe, Ang!  While running away from us and the other paps she slid and fell, twice!" the screen put pictures up and I fell to lean on Julia, and she pet my head.  "On the second time everyone caught up to her, and here's some video coverage." it showed me looking for a way out and then I slid down the wall.  Seconds later Niall was moving and blocking cameras with Harry, and Liam came to pick me up and put me in the car with Zayn.  "Then, at the boys vacation house which will not be seen in full view due to privacy issues, we got this pic of Zayn." a picture of Zayn walking into the house, leaving me, Niall and Louis in the car.  "And then this pic of Liam, who got back a short time later."

The t.v. shut off, and I was looking at the ground.  No one moved, no one said a word.  I looked at the ground, tears welling in my eyes.  "Well, I'm offended." Louis said seriously, "I think we would look wonderful together!" he exclaimed, making me and the others laugh.  A hand pushed my head and then brought it back, "Don't even worry about it." I smiled at Zayn's calm voice.
