I know it's long..but
please read x
My brother has a working memory
problem.
It's not severe or anything, he can remember who
I am and what he
did yesterday and where he lives and how old he is.
But it makes it hard for him to socialize with people - he
doesn't
really get sarcasm, or when people are laughing at him
or taking
the mick out of him.
It makes me so upset, because we go to different high
schools and I can't
look out for him, and I worry all the time. He works so hard
at school , but it's
so difficult for him to
remember facts and things, he doesn't get the grades
to show for it.
I promise this is all completely true, and
I'm not doing this for faves.
I just need someone to tell me he'll be
okay.

He will be okay, trust me, there will be people who realise how nice he is, how caring he is and how clever he is. I know it's not the same, but my brother used to get bullied (he has asberges syndrome), suddenly when he went to sixth form, he made so many new friends and began to actually go out and socialize with people, which was so surprising for us, people liked him for who he was and I'm sure your brother will be the same. I know it's not the same situation but it may be the same outcome:)
