Chapter 1



“Everyone on the flight to Florida, it’s time to board.”
      
With a sigh I grabbed my luggage and slumped over to the boarding line. Being polite, I smiled at the flight attendant and handed her my ticket. She gave me one of those fake smiles that didn’t quite reach her eyes. She looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but here. Ha, boy I knew what that felt like.

I walked down the long aile way to board the plane taking me away from the place I called home and have lived most of my life, New York. Brushing the thought I away, I began looking for my seat. F6… F6… as I got closer to my seat I saw a boy who looked close to my age, 17.

He had dirty blonde hair and had a tanned complextion. He was toned, wearing a short sleeved   navy shirt showing off his strong looking arms, a light pair of denim jeans, and high top Nikes. He must have sensed my gawking, for he turned to face me. The first thing I noticed were his piercing blue eyes.

His eyes looked amused and his lips pursed up into a cocky grin. Embarrassed he caught me staring, I grabbed my luggage and attempted lift it into the cubbies. The bags were heavy for me and  almost dropped them everywhere. As I struggled to lift my bag up again, I felt strong hands help lift my bag up with ease.

“Here, let me give you a hand.”

I looked over saw it was the boy with the beautiful eyes that were unforgetable.

“Oh.. thank you,” I muttered embarrassed, feeling my cheeks get hot.

He flashed me that cocky smile of his with eyes sparkling and nodded.

We sat in our seats and I buckled up. I tried not to think about my cheeks still feeling hot and fumbled through my purse for my iPod. I wanted to drown out everyone and just lose myself in the music.

I didn’t want to think about me leaving New York for a long time to live with my dad.. or the reason for leaving. I shook that thought away and put on Drake, letting the myself slip into a sleep before I could think about anything else that was going wrong..
