Chapter One:

Annabelle's POV - 
I looked down at my phone, and clicked answer.
Me: Hello?
Christian: What's up?
Me: Thanks for saying hi back...but not a lot, just laying down writing.
Christian: The usual. He started to laugh.
Me: you know how I am.
Christian: soooo.
Me: I hate it when you do that.
Christian: Do what?
Me: Say soo...obviously you want to say something.
Christian: Nah. I just don't know what to talk about. Hey hold on a second, I have another call coming in.
Me: Okay.
I sighed. All our conversations are always the same. We talk about nothing, when there's always something that I desperately want to talk about.
Christian: Hey! sorry about that.
Me: It's okay. So..uh..Christian there's something I want to tell you...
Christian: okay go ahead.
Me: I don't know how to say this without sounding like a complete freak, or scaring you away, or something along those lines...
Christian: just tell me.
Me: *sigh* fine...
i really like you. yeah, you may think "duh i like you too, we've been best friends since like 1st grade." But no...that's not what I mean...like I really truly care about you, and I have for a long time. It took the longest time for me to admit it to myself, and admitting it to you scares the crap out of me, because I don't wanna ruin our friendship. You've been the one person in my life that's actually been there and stayed with me since I was young. You make me smile beyond no end, and every time I'm having a bad day I can always count on you to make things so much better. I miss you a whole lot. I'm sorry if this kinda freaked you out or made you think of me differently, because that's what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want you to think of me any differently then you did before, even if you don't feel the same I don't want our friendship to go down the drain because of me, because I would never forgive myself if it did.

Christian fell silent.
