Beautiful Girl (this is one of my faves)

In the dark this beautiful girl lies/And on the floor this beautiful girl lies/Her body covered with scars/And only because her dad spends too much time at the bar/She's thinking of running away/And some day she may/ But not today, today is not the day/Today she met a wonderful boy/Who does not think of her as a toy/He told her she was beautiful adn that she had pretty eyes/She blushed at started to cry/But the boy didn't udnerstand why/She looked up and saw her chance, a chance she wouldn't miss/She dried her face and leaned in to give him a kiss/When she leaned back, you could see her glowing/But the boy smiled and said he had to get going/He got up and said ,"Tomorrow I'll meet you here."/So that's where the girl will be/If tomorrow you can't find her don't fret/The boy only took her to fly in his jet.... well maybe not but it still sounds fun/In the dark she no longer cries/And on the floor she no longer lies/All because of one boy, who dared to love her/
