one/colbie's pov:
i
danced around my bedroom to rizzle kicks. then my phone buzzed.
it was jack.
'hey, meet me outside
school?'
i'm
in love with jack. we're not together, but i wish we were.
he's my best friend. he doesn't know i love him, even
though we tell each other all the time. he thinks its just a
friendly 'love you' but for me its
not.
i
replied 'yeah. see you inabit;)'
i
quickly had a shower then put mousse in my hair to make it all
curly. then i had to decide what to wear. i finally chose my
skinnies and uggs and a woolley jumper. i put my makeup on then
shouted a quick 'bye' to my mum and left. when i got to
school i come up behind jack and hugged
him.
'im
gonna need to copy your maths' he said.
'good luck, i didn't do it
either! looks like we'll be in detention together' i
replied.
'colbie, i need to tell you
something..' jack began, but the bell rang so he said
he'd tell me at lunch.
i spent
all of english thinking about what jack wanted to tell me. the
way he said it sounded like it was important, but he couldn't
rush it. did he love me back? did he really feel the same way
about me as i did about him? of course not.don't be silly, i
told myself. he is so cute and kind, he could have any girl, why
would he pick me?
'hey colbie, colbie? colbie
pearson!' it was danielle, she was my other best
friend.
'sorry i was gorming' i
replied.
'i
saw that. thinking about jack? well..i have some news you're
not gonna like...'
right, this is my first story so be nice:) sorry it's
starting slow, but i have plans.
