Flip Out Over
Flip-Flops!
Show off your own style by decorating a plain
pair of flip-flops. Pick your favorite colors, or
accessorize them to match a special
outfit.
You'll need a
pair of flip-flops with plastic straps.
Using ribbon or strips of fabric, cover the
plastic straps by wrapping the ribbon or fabric
around them. Use a few drops of hot glue to
keep the ribbon or fabric in place.
Then it's time to get creative! Use
sequeins, beads, buttons, glitter, puffy paint,
or whatever else you'd like to make your
flip-flops one-of=a-kind! You can even try
small shells, gemstones, or fake flowers. Use
hot glue to attach your accessories.
Double-rare tip: Use your leftover
decorations to make a matching hair accessory.
Use hot glue to attach sequiens, flowers,
glitter, or other decorations to a plain
headband or barrette.
