Chapter 28.
*Evie’s
POV*
I got home seeing mom stroking her stomach, I
made a funny face and ran upstairs to my
bedroom.
I jumped onto my bed and got out my
iPod.
“Let me in!” I heard mom shout
from outside, I ignored her and switched the music on
high.
I felt tears stream down my face letting the
mix of mascara and eyeliner drip down my eyes.
After an hour I decided to go to the bathroom
but mom quickly ran up the stairs.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HOME?” mom
yelled, I looked at her and closed and locked the bathroom door.
I did my business and took a shower and left my hair to
drip.
“I’LL BE WAITING!” I heard
mom shout from outside, I groaned and put the towel around me, I
walked out looking at mom whose bump was growing bigger by the
day.
“Stress isn’t good for the
babies” I said sarcastically.
“You’re the stress if so”
mom said following me, I opened my door and tried to shut it but
before I could she put her foot in the way.
“Go away!” I said opening the
closet I picked out the sweats from Victoria’s
Secret.
“Not till you tell me what’s
going on or I’ll phone school” she threatened; I let
out a laugh and sat on the bed.
“Phone them” I smirked,
“They won’t know anything”
“Is this due to Alec?” she asked
raising an eyebrow.
“Nothing to do with him” I said
looking guilty.
“Look I know it’s about
him” mom said stroking her big bump.
“Whatever now you know” I said
“You can go”
“I’m going nowhere Evie”
mom sighed, “What did you do to make Alec dump
you?”
“He didn’t dump me!” I said
“He just found out I cheated on
him”
I heard mom laugh.
“Evie, Evie, Evie” mom taunted,
“You know what a fool you’ve
been”
“I know mom now shut the hell
up!” I said.
“Who with?” mom asked, I flashed
a quick glare at mom, “Tell me”
“Eddie” I
sighed.
“Oh gosh” mom said fanning
herself with the magazine “The good looking
one?”
“Yes” I nodded letting out a
smile, “But I did something wrong”
“Sweetie we all make mistakes”
mom said wrapping her arms around me.
“I uh told him he wasn’t good in
bed” I said, I saw mom smile and she rubbed the side of my
head, “I was drunk when it happened, I didn’t know if
he was good or bad!”
“Sweetie he knows your upset” she
reassured “Have a word with him”
“Maybe I will after school” I
said smiling “But he might be with the blonde girl I told
him to get with”
“You didn’t” mom said in a
childish way.
“I did” I said looking at mom in
a serious way.
“Well I guess you better get him before
the blonde girl does. If you love him tell him he won’t
wait forever” mom said smiling, I looked at her and smiled
then she left.
