Ex; "You're strong willed, sweet, you can stick up for yourself, you're smart, beautiful and just amazing"
Me; "Thank you alottt, but no, I'm none of those things except strong-willed."
Ex; "Yes you are."
Me; "I'll never believe any of it, but thanks."
Ex; "Tell me why."
Me; "Why? Because I just won't. I look in the mirror every day and I don't see the girl that you guys do. I see someone who just wants to cry 24/7 but she hasn't in years because she refuses to be that weak. I see someone who needs to lose weight. I see pimples and hair that wouldn't stayit had4 cans of hairspray in it.  I see a girl that can't succeed unless she pushes herself until she can't anymore. I see a girl who wishes everyone would just leave her alone. She's afraid to trust anyone, and she thinks she knows what love is, but she doens't believe in it. I see a girl who smiles every day even though she can feel herself breaking. I see a girl who doesn't want to pretend anymore, but she does anyway."
Ex; "Can you believe one thing for me?"
Me; "It depends."
Ex; "I'll always love you."
Me; "I love you too."
But the whole time I was thinking; 'You never loved me, and you never will, because I am all those things that I said I was.'
