Unaccepted Love
Part 3
It was like an hour later since I
visited my neighbours and I was bored out my mind. I grabbed my
car keys from the kitchen side and staggered outside to my car.
To my dismay, rain was pouring down and the skies were covered by
grey clouds. As soon as I realised my hair was getting soaked, I
ran towards my car. When I was nearly near my door, a hand
grabbed my wrist. I gasped in shock. “Calm down, it’s
only me” someone whispered. I strained my neck round and
saw Justin, his hair was drenched. I giggled and my face flushed
with redness. “Like I said you look cute when you’re
embarrassed” he smiled as he put his arm round me. I looked
up into the sky as rain drops hit my face. “So is Selena
Lyne gonna drive to me somewhere magical “he
chuckled. My heart just melted when he said my name. We
have only known each other for over an hour and he already knows
my full name. Maybe we are meant to be. Dream on Sel, some like
Justin is gonna really like me isn’t he. I must have been
in such of a daydream because somehow I tripped over my own foot
and went smack onto the ground. Justin was standing there
laughing hysterically and pulled me up effortlessly to my feet.
“Thanks.”I mumbled. I felt intimidated by his
piercing eyes.
We both finally got into my car but we didn’t go
anyway, we just sat and talked. “What senior school do you
go to “I questioned him. He just looked at me with a
puzzled look. “I don’t go to school “he
answered. “I work as a chef at Canadian Restaurant.”
I hung my head low because I realised he is much older than me.
“You still go to school?”He said as he tilted my chin
up with his hand. “Yeah, I guess” I
mumbled.”I’m seventeen though. He grinned and
poked my nose. Great, he is going to treat me like a right kid
now. I wish my last year or school will wiz past and I will be
able to date Justin. He reached over me and put my seatbelt on. I
raised my eyebrows at him in confusion. “Don’t give
me that look “he snapped. I sat back in shock from the way
he was talking to me. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt
your feelings “he assured. “ I want to take you
somewhere. I guess I will have to trust him to drive my car. I
won’t be able to talk him out of this
one.
