i lost my grandpa who was like a dad to me to lymphoma a few years ago, it is hard & painful, im not going to lie to you about it, its going to seem like none of this is real, things will go by in a dream-daze-like state for a few months after, things will change, BUT they do get better, i promise, eventually you will stop crying because you miss him, and because you so happy he was in your life, how he changed you, and how you know somebody is going to be there watching down on you. dont waste any time, spend it with him, just talking. to be honest, my grandpa changed my life, i didnt know it back then, but i do now. he was kinda a country man, he learned to love the simple things in life, he seemed to have a look in his eyes like he knew something about happiness that none of us knew, even in his worst times, he put on a smile, he fought as hard as he could, and never complinaed or asked why or anything, he was there for us still in his worst times, things get better, i promise < 3 stay strong!

i'm so sorry. but you have to know that he will be going to a better place. he wont suffer anymore. and he will be with you always. spend time with him and remember him happy. i know its scary. everything will be ok. i know you dont know me, but you have great friends and still a supporting family. you're all in this together. just hang tight ok?

spend as much time with him as you can. go places with him if he's able. do things you've always wanted to do. Over use I love you. Make this last month the best you've ever spent together. you'll get through it, i promise. it'll be hard. very hard. but you will.
