"and i meant it." 
"i know."
"Do you feel safe around me?"
"Of course. Jake why are you asking me so many questions?"
"Umm, no reason."
"You sure?"
"Yeah,"
"Okay."
"I don't want you around these parts. i want you to be safe. i'll tell my cousin to take us somewhere else."
"Alright."
i was sitting on the bench, and i started listening to Jake.
"Look i want her to be safe, i don't want her here. if something happens to her I SWEAR."
"Okay, okay man. is she your girlfriend or something?"
"Well, i want her to be but she's out of my league."
When i heard him say that i got butterflies.
"C'mon we can go. he's taking us somewhere else."
" alright."
i smiled at him and he smiled back. i love his smile.
it was freezing.
we got in the car and Jake started holding me again. i felt warm and safe with him. i could trust him.
