I just bought a colt. (Profile picture) He was beaten, chained,(When you chain a horse to a wall and beat it with a whip), and starved in a lonely field for almost a year. He was going to be sold for meat. Everyone thought I was crazy to buy him. He pinned his ears at everyone, didn't trust anyone. He probably won't ever be able to be ridden. Well, when I walked by his pen, I saw him. He was lying down, a pile of bones. When I went up to the fence, he struggled to get up and cantered, though dragging his feet at me, ears pinned. I saw a spark in his eyes, though. A spark of hope. His ears unpinned a bit, but he still ran at me. But, at the fence he stopped. He c*cked his head, as if asking me 'What now?'. It was then, I hurridly ran off to auctions. I bought him for 20 dollars. His name is A Midnight's Storm, but I call him Stormy.
