Lauren's
POV
"Tell anyone & i slit her throat." He held a
knife to Ashley's throat. Omg, I couldn't believe
what I heard. This could not be happening..this had to be a
prank..a really good prank. But why would Ashley be in on
it..she was supposed to be on vacation. I shut off the
laptop and went to sleep.
I was running, as fast as i could, i was almost to the door
of the house. I was starting to slow down, from running so
much. I got to the door, put my hand on the handle, but
then a man grabbed me from behind. I was screaming as he
slowly dragged me away.
"Lauren? Lauren! LAUREN!" Kaylee was screaming. I
opened my eyes, "What?!" i mumbled. "You
were screaming in your sleep..did you have a nightmare or
something..?" she asked. I couldn't tell her what
the video really said. "Just some stupid dream."
i muttered. Then we heard a horn honking outside. "Oh,
sh*t, that's my mom, I'll call you later!"
Kaylee said as she ran out the door. I glanced at the
clock, oh it was already 12. I still had to study for
finals this week! I quickly jumped in the shower, put it
iin a messy bun, and hit the books. After studying for what
seemed like hours, I took a break. I couldn't focus on
studying with that stupid video. I decided to go on a run
to clear my head. I slipped on sweatpants over my soffee
shorts, and an old track sweatshirt over my sports bra. As
I stepped outside into the frosty air, I felt a rush of
adrenaline. I ran to the old park about a mile from my
house, this is where all my memories were of my happy
little childhood. In the distance I saw a van pulled up
against the curb. I was starting to get cold, so I ran
back, but I felt like I was being followed. I looked over
my shoulder and I swear I saw the same van. You're so
stupid, I thought, you're just paranoid. I noticed that
my pace had quickened, but so did the
van's..,
