FALL 1

My heart sank through my sneakers and through the floorboards. her blonde hair, blue eyes and deep tanned skin- what was she doing here?
"Carmen darling! how was your day at school?" she smiled as she grabbed me and strangled me in her vice like grip of a hug. he perfume was gagging me- it was disgusting. she was disgusting; flinging herself at dad all the time.
"Let go of me," i hissed as i brushed past her and into the living room.
"Why is she here?!" I yelled, blocking his veiw so he couldnt watch T.V.
"Carmen, can we t-"
"No we cant talk about it later!" i screamed, jabbing my finger at him.
Mom wasnt even buried yet and he was already with someone else.
"You let her live in this house, eat our food and go around playing my mom!"
"Carmen, you cant keep on going like this- you're going to have to accept it one-"
"No, i'm not going to have to accept anything like this. I'm never ever going to accept that thing over there!"

I crashed past Kelly and upstairs where I slammed my door. I was never going to accept anyone, including Kelly, as my new mother.
