Chapter 1
 

 I woke up to a typical Saturday, his arms were wrapped around my waist and I untangled myself from him, trying my best not to wake him, I loved my life, I had the best boyfriend In the world, the perfect apartment that looked over new york, and just in general everything for me was perfect, except for one thing, my boyfriend, Sergeant James Sydney, was leaving in exactly 1 days and 8 hours, to go over sea’s for 10 months. I walked to my mirror and stared at myself, my long brown hair fell to my shoulders and my green eyes were bright, my eyes scanned the room, the plain white walls were scattered with pictures and awards that belonged to James, the king bed sat in the middle of the room and hanging on the door was his uniform, I walked over to it and ran my fingers down the rough green material, a tear ran down my cheek and I brushed it away quickly, it was our one year anniversary today and I had to stay strong, “ baby” he said, his blue eyes starred at me “ are you ok?” he whispered as he wraped his hands around my waist and I put mine on his neck “as long as you’re here” I said, as I pulled him in for a kiss, it started off sweat but escalated quickly, his hand ran down my back, sending a shock through my spine, “happy anniversary baby” he said his lips brushing against my neck, “we’ll do this later” I said smiling to myself, tonight was our goodbye night. He grunted but agreed “ whatever you say captain” he said, grabbing his suitcase bag from under the bed and he grabbed all his army clothes, I couldn’t watch him back, I cant stand to have him leave, “im already starting to go crazy” I whispered to him “ trust me , your perfectly sane baby” “not for long” I said my eyes watering as I blinked a mile a minute to keep the tears from falling, I cant be alone, I thought.
