We're not Always
Perfect
Chapter 1
Imperfection is the definition of her reality. But of
course,
being the
good friends they were, everyone called Ana perfect.
She
didn't see it. Looking past her clear skin and pearly white
teeth,
she focused
on her personality. With her friends, she was a happy,
fun loving
girly girl. But on the inside, there was so much more.
Unfortunately for her, her
mother signed her up for therapy.
Not your usual,
sit-on-a-green-couch-while-talking-about-my-problems
therapy, but GROUP
therapy. Ana didn't like the thought of group therapy.
She wasn't used to
telling other teenagers her problems, only pros.
"Ana?" It's time to
go!" her mother called, interuppting her train
of thought.
"Okay mother, be down in a minute." she grabbed her
old
Mickey Mouse
bag and left the room. "I really don't need this, I've
changed
alot!" Ana
yelled as she walked down the stairs. Her mother hesitated,
"Yes baby, I
know. I just.. I want you to be safe." She said this very
quietly.
She was like that
for a while, quiet. "Whatever." Ana whispered,
pulling
at her black
Hollister v-neck. Her mother grabbed her arm tight, revealing
Ana's scars.
"When you have these, you don't say whatever to being
safe."
Ana turned away, then ran
to the car and locked herself in. She tried not to
cry, but failed.
Her mother got in, and turned on Adele. She knew Ana loved
Adele, so she knew Ana
was upset when she turned her off. "Look, I'm
sorry Ana. I'm just
still shaken up by your suicidal-" "No, mom. Do not
say
suicidal accident.
It was NOT an accident." Ana said, with rage. "And
NO,
I will not ever tell you
why." Her mother wouldn't look at her. But Ana saw the
tears in her mother's eyes.
"You;re going to be late." she whispered, turning
off the car. "Hmph."
Ana said. Her mother walked slowly to the house, and
came back five minutes later.
"Get out," she said, "group's
tomorrow."
Hope you guys liked it. :) Ch.2
