Whisper
Chapter 9


I woke up saturday morning with a smile on my face.
I walked over to where my phone was charging and saw that i had already got a text from Ryan:
meet me at our spot at 11. ive got food for the picnic :)
I smiled to myself and looked at the clock.
It was 9:30, i had plenty of time.
I took a warm shower to relax myself because I was getting nervous and tense just thinking about Ryan.
I got dressed into a nice outfit and started scrunching my hair.
I had a quick breakfast and then went back upstairs to finish getting ready.
By now it was 10:30 so i had to get ready to leave.
I did light makeup because i wasn't a fan of what the really dark makeup looked like.
I put on my shoes on and told my mom i was going out for a walk to get lunch for myself, which wasn't exactly a lie...
I arrived at out meeting spot a few minutes before 11 and for the first time i beat Ryan there.
But he wasn't far behind me because I saw him coming up his street with a few grocery bags.
When he got here i took one of the grocery bags and we started walking to the field part of the park.
The walk there we mostly made small talk about random stuff and there were constant giggles.
When we got to an area partially secluded by trees Ryan took a blanket out of one of the bags and laid it down carefully.
We sat down and started eating.
I finished up my sandwich and i snuck a mint into my mouth.
We started talking again and then Ryan asked
"Do you remember when we were talking and i told you that you would need to spend more time with me to figure out who i really was?" I nodded my head. "Well, who do you think i am really?"
I contemplated my answer, searching for the words to describe his beauty.
"To me, guys were always fake. But you're the first person to make me question that. Because your not. You're real. And i think its amazing." I smiled at him as he thought over my answer.
He seemed satisfied and happy with it so i laid down on the blanket and looked up at the clouds, noticing all the different shapes.
"Pumpkin...Bird...Bunny"
Ryan laughed at me and complained that he couldn't see them.
I tried to point them out but we started cracking up so hard that i couldn't even get the words out.
"Are you kidding?!?!?!" I laughed as i pointed up to the sky. "How can you not see that huge beautiful cloud???"
"Because I'm looking at the most beautiful thing right now" He looked deep into my eyes.
His lips came closer to mine as i waited in anticipation for a longly desired kiss.
