what we were .. We weren't prepared for the murder . He
just came at us , with his rifle .. He was just an innocent
man hunting in the night .. We had robbed a house , that

of anything but the sound of the gun going off and shooting
him dead center in the forehead ..
He heard us coming .. He shot
the tree to scare us away ..
He got down , and pointed us
towards death . One shot in the head would bring us all to
our knees ..
Weeping or bleeding , I wanted
to die ..
But then from behind , a shot

I looked back and it was
Jeremy , the biggest bully in school ..
He had shotten the man who was
going to kill us ..
I couldn't get this off my
mind as Monday came back .. I saw Jeremy smile as he walked
me by in the 10th grade hallway .. Why did he smile at me
??? I had this question
in my head all through 3rd period .. I had to find a way to
hide .. Cause I knew , just knew , that we were going to get
