I've been suffering from an eating disorder for two years
I cry myself to sleep every night
I'm no longer close with either of my parents
I'm depressed
I've contemplated suicide
I hate what I see in the mirror
I'm constantly pressured to excel academically and athletically
I can't trust any of my friends
My close friend is trying to get with my ex-boyfriend
I give respect to people who don't return the favor
 
But you wouldn't know it.


Never once have I made my problems someone else's.
Hiding behind a smile.
You truly never know.
