CHAPTER 4

It was morning. When i woke up i remembered what happened yesterday. I didn't know if it was a dream or that it really happened.

When i went downstairs nobody was there. Not even Sam. He was always the first one up. I eat some cereal and went up to his room. When i opened the door i felt a chill. It quickly closed by itself. And i saw Sam on the bed. When i opened the door again he wasn't on the bed, the bed wasn't even there, nothing was. I closed the door and went to my room.

At school i saw Lucy, Jacob and Zoe. I just passed by them i didn't fell like talking to anyone. Not even Zoe. But i wanted to ask her what did she mean by what she said yesterday. So i turned aroud and took a deep breath and started walking to them. I took my time so i could think what i will say to them.

I was there. Standing. Quietly. Without a word. Lucy looked at me and said ''WHAT?!''.
Zoe said hi and i just replied ''Can we talk?''.
She nodded her head and started walking behind me. I went to the bathroom and checked that there wasn't anyone there like Veronica Mars does :) and started talking.
''Yesterday you said that i knew that you were talking about. And the thing is I DON'T. So will you tell me? Cause' i'm kinda confused.''
''Are you serious? You really don't know, look ...''
.. THE BELL RANG ..
''I'll text you. I have no minutes left and i know you don't either, so later K?'' she said.
I just said OK. And left for class.

It's sunday and Zoe still hasn't texted me. 4 days have passed, no way she forgot. I haven't even seen her at school so we could talk, but i texted her. A LOT. Always no replay.

1O o'clock. I'm going to be. I'm sleepy. I get a text. It's from Zoe. Finally.

ZOE: sorry i didn't text you my mom took my phone long story.let's talk now or are you sleeping?
ME: it's fine. no i was just going to bed. so would you please tell me what's going on? i'm really confused
ZOE: i really wanna tell you but i don't think it's my right to.
ME: you're my BEST friend and i trust you with every thing so please tell me!
ZOE: on the day of the accident you kissed Jacob.you were drunk.i think that's why you don't remember.he kissed you back.and then he stopped.he remembered you telling him the day before you still liked your ex.so i that's what's acting strange.
ME: oh now i remember. i didn't even say i was sorry. and when i told him i was still into that jerk i was just trying to make him jealous. i didn't mean it. really. and what accident?
ZOE: oh.i knew it.i knew you liked Jacob.aaaww you 2 would be so good together. :P the accident that um well Sam was in.
ME: Sam was in an accident?! where is he? OMG!!! why didn't anyone tell me? where is he now?
ZOE: Emma are you okay? Sam's dead. it happened a year ago.
