Just another heartbeat, then
I’m there. Fear was creeping down my spine there it was, just
in front of me was the park, the place where laughter and smiles
were all to be seen and heard. Until someone breaks the heart of
some innocent person. That was not going to be me. I was just
anxious because I was going to meet someone special. Well I’m
not supposed to; I just have that feeling when you’re going
to meet someone special.
Standing down the park was Aimee. She was just perfect; I wish I
looked like her. Skin pale as snow, cheeks red as a rose. Just a
model of pure beauty. Her blue eyes glistened as the sun rays
reflected of her mirror which sat in her delicate hand. One look at
her and you would think she was an angel. Something didn’t
seem right, she seemed so cautious with everyone that walked
past. Fear just entered her body, something was on her mind.
“Destiny!”She spoke; her words were sharp and quick.
“He is here” she whispered. Who? I thought in my mind,
it seems like she has gone mad. “My brother’s
friend, he wants to...”she mumbled as she hung her head low. A
black figure, no larger than a teenage boy, hid lifelessly behind a
tree. I peeped round but nothing was visible to my eyes. “He
wants to kill me!” Aimee cried. Tears dripped from her
diamond eyes. “I’m sure he doesn’t” I
assured her. Something deep down inside me said to me, she
isn’t joking.
