Some things need to stay the same
Chapter
1
I opened my eyes, to greet the new
day. I sat up in bed, just realizing how messy my room was.
Dresser opened, backpack knocked over, books spilling out, papers
scattered on my desk, it was a mess. It wasn't that bad,
but it was worse than I thought it was. I hopped out of bed, and
quickly got dressed: Paramore t-shirt(My fave band) black skinny
jeans, and my worn purple Chucks. I finished getting ready
for the day, which consisted of smoothing my wild black ringlets,
applying mascara and eyeliner, and other hygenial stuff I don't
need to mention, it's common sense! Walking down stairs with my
backpack, I munched on ready-made waffles my mom handed to
me.
"Thanks mom, I know I'm running late today," I
smiled at my mom, who was prettier and younger than most moms,
and looked ok even with her hair frizzy and no make-up
on.
"No problem sweetie," My mom replied, "I heard
you on your guitar last night, you are really good! And your
singing-"
"Mom, I love getting flattered as much as the next girl, but if I
don't leave now, I'm going to miss the bus!" I grabbed my
backpack, gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek, and ran out the
door.
"Well, have a good day at school, sweetie!" She called after me. I love my mom, but she tends to babble on and on sometimes. I made it to the bus stop just in time to get on and sit alone, the way I liked it. I'm Alice Starr, I'm 15 years old, I love to sing, act, and play the guitar. My Best friend is Autumn Jones, and this is my life.
(Good so far? Should I write more? If I do, it will get better,
trust me! XD)
