my
mom works with
mentally retarded (special needs)
children. in wheelchairs, ones that can't walk/talk,
ones from abusive families. children that have almost nothing
at all and they still live
life to there fullest with a smile on there face.
then i sit and think about all the things i complain about not
having. i can walk and talk, laugh, hear, see.
i'm lucky enough to have that. why am i
complaining? ♥

my mom works with special needs children too, specifically ones with autisim. they're so great, and so selfless. ♥

i just had to do a project for school this summer about special needs children & how they are treated in society and such.. it really opened my eyes(:
