Secrets, and Death
Chapter one
Paris's pov
The light shined in, it was tinted pink from
Paris's curtains. It was 6:30 in the morning and her alarm
clock buzzed, she slammed on the snooze button. But her mom
rammed into her room, and screamed
"RISE AND SHINE
DARLING." with a cup of coffee in her hand.
Paris rubbed her eyes with her knuckles, she slid out of bed. She
jumped into her favorite grey skinny jeans and an
American Eagle shirt. She straitened her dark brown hair
with her CHI flat iron.
Then she galloped down the stares to see her mother drinking
coffe while
watching the news.
Paris got some bread out of the fridge and made
herself some toast, then while she waited she took a seat next to
her mom. They stared at the T.V in silence.
"LAST NIGHT-- there was another shooting in River field. A
fifteen year old girl was found dead on the sidewalk near
the train station. There was seven bullet shots in her chest,
Police are still looking for clues." The
T.V news reporter blurted out.
"Oh gosh, there are such sick people in this world" her
mother said with her hand over her mouth.
"Yeah, I know.." Paris said still watching the
T.V
Paris turned toward the clock, it was 7:30, she had to go outside
and catch the bus. She ran up to get her toast, and ran out the
door.
"Bye Mom!" She screamed on the way out.
"Have a good day hunny." Her mother screamed back.
Paris slammed the door behind her and walked to the bus stop to
meet her crew.
