Standing Out

CHAPTER THREE

When I woke up I quickly remembered where I was, Collin's room. I looked around, I was laying on the bed, wrapped in Collin's arms. I glanced over and he was awake and his bright blue eyes were staring at me, I smiled at the same time he did. I looked over at the clock, it read 10:56.
"Crap." I muttered. "I gotta get home, my parents are probably freaking out."
Collin had a look of disappointment in his eyes but he said okay, then he glanced at the window and said "Its raining, here take these." as he threw a pair of sweats and a hoodie at me. I smiled and said thank you and ran out the door. I walked home and quietly opened the door but as I turned around to lock it the lights switched on. I jumped and looked slowly over my shoulder expecting to see my parents, but to my surprise it was Alice standing there in her white and blue cow night gown with her white bunny slippers. She looked like a little farm girl. I smiled and said "Oh hey Ally."
"Hey." She answered coldly. I was unsure why she wasn't her normal, bubbly self.
"Whats wrong?" I asked.
"Where were you? Mom and Dad were worried sick, you could have called us or texted us. Mom was this close to calling the police. Where were you?" Alice yelled.
"Oh my.. I was just at the neighbors house. I fell asleep Alice, I'm sorry, I forgot I didn't mean to be out so late. Please forgive me..." I pleaded.
Alice rolled her eyes and headed off to bed. I felt a tear run down my cheek, and I started to slowly walk off to my bedroom, which is on the other side of the house then the rest of the bedrooms. My room is painted light purple and it has white accents all around it. Theres a huge window which I use as a headboard to my bed. Its basically a dream teen room. I crawled into bed still in Collins sweats.
The next morning when I woke up to my alarm I got dressed for school. I put on a feather sweater, some boyfriend jeans, and my floral sperrys.

Not too dressy and not too sloppy.
I looked in the mirror and threw my hair in a messy top knot, dabbed on a little mascara and walked downstairs.
When I got downstairs no one was sitting there. I sighed and looked out the window. No cars were here. There was a note on the table saying
"We left early for work. Call someone for a ride. When we get home we all need to talk.
-Mom&Dad."
I sighed and pulled out my new iPhone that my parents got me when they told me we were moving. They thought it would take away some pain, it really didn't, but I was grateful for the gift. I called Collin and asked for a ride, he said
"Of course, babe. Pick you up in ten?"
I agreed and pulled out some cereal to eat quickly. When I stepped out the door I could feel the crisp air. I saw Collin's car pull up and I hopped in. he smiled at me and said "Hello Gorgeous!" I looked down and said "Haha thanks, I guess." We sang to 'Need you now by Lady Antebellum' in the correct parts as we drove into the school parking lot. It was pretty fun. As I stepped out of the car all of the guys came and swarmed around me.. But then I realized I was standing by Mr. Popular. As Collin talked to the guys I saw a small group of three girls approach me. They were dressed in big name brands. They came up and stood next to some of the guys talking to Collin. One of the girls looked at me and motioned for me to come over. I smiled and walked over. They examined me and one of them with blonde long hair said "Hello, My names Kelsey, this is Nadia" She said motioning to a girl with brown curly hair, "and this is Molly." She said pointing to a girl with long red curly hair. "We noticed you standing over here with all these guys so we decided to see whats up!" I smiled and said "Well my names Aldie. I just started here yesterday. Collin lives next to me and we kinda have something going on now, I guess." Nadia smiled and started to giggle. "Oh well we were wondering if you'd like to join our well, haha group? We're kind of known as the popular girls around here and you would definetly fit with us. You're hot, chicky!!" I laughed and said "Sure why not!" Then we all joined back with the guys. Collin looked over at me and smiled as he put his arm around me. I noticed that Kelsey was with a guy named Oliver, he was prety cute. Nadia kissed Nathan, and Molly went up to Issac and hugged him from the side.
We all walked into the school together laughing. Then we seperated to our lockers. I realized that Molly's last name was Berit so we were right next to eachother, we laughed as we grabbed our books then we all headed of to our classes for the day.
