Unexpected
{Chapter One}
"I'm going to miss you , Dyl." Whispered my boyfriend , Ian. He brushed a piece of my hair back and kissed me on the cheek before opening my car door for me. "Are you really leaving for the whole summer?" When he nodded i frowned and turned towards the steering wheel, not wanting him to see me cry. "Dylan. Look at me." he took my chin and turned it towards my face. "I'll try to call you every night, but up at my grandparents its really tough. Just remember i love you." He kissed me and slowly shut the car door, making a wall between the two of us. I put my hand up on the window and he did the same. When we said our final good byes i pulled out of the parking lot and let the tears flow. 
So much for my summer romance.

As i pull into my drive way I see that my fathers car is in the garage, which isnt normal because hes usually at work until late. He's a celebrity lawyer, which makes me pretty wealthy and automatically popular. I pull the key out of the ignition of my Porsche and hop out, wobbling on my heels. When i open the door to the house and walk into the living room i realize that there is a problem. Both my parents are in the living room, sitting on the couch, looking at me impatiently. "Dylan, sweetie. Could you sit down?" 
"Uhm, i have stuff to do but sure.." I sat on the couch and waited.
"Well, Dylan.." My mother started. "Me and your father don't think that you are learning enough as a teenager." I held up my finger, signalling for her to stop. "uh, mom. incase you didnt notice im at one of the top schools in Massachusetts?" She ignored my input and continued. "We mean a real world education honey. We have, uh signed you up for a camp out in Maine... One of those outdoor camps. Where you'll be working and sleeping in cabins and riding Kayaks." 
"UHM WHAT?" i stand up and shake my head. "NO WAY. NO WAY AM I GOING."
"Pack your bags, You'll be leaving in the morning. No buts. Go upstairs and pack, now."
My summer is officially ruined. No boyfriend and no friends?
