I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I looked at the clock. 11:00AM. I went straight to the shower and turned the water on. I didn't dare to even look at myself in the mirror. I got out of the shower at about 11:15. I got dressed into a floral tanktop and some denim shorts. Not too dressy and not too casual. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I started putting on my makeup when I heard the doorbell ring. "Who the heck..." I said to myself. I went downstairs and opened the door. Landon Green was standing there. One of the cutest boys and biggest player in the school was standing in my doorstep. "Umm.. hi?" I said to him. "Hey Cutie.." He winked at me. "What do you want Landon?" I groaned. "I know this is kind of a weird question but have you seen a dog running around anywhere near here lately?" He asked. He rubbed the back of his head. He seemed kind of nervous and pretty awkward. "Hmm, nope. Sorry." I said instantly. "Alright, well if you do, give me a call please. It's my little brothers and he's been whining about it." He explained. "Oh, okay. I'll be looking out for it." I said. I wasn't too into him. He was super cute but also such a jerk to most girls. He's cheated on almost every one of his girlfriends except for the one he actually liked. She had moved away about 9 months ago. "Thanks so much.... OH, and hey hit me with a text anytime you wanna hang or something. I wouldn't mind getting to know you better." He winked at me again. "Yeah, okay." I said and shut the door. It was Saturday and I had nothing planned. My parents and little sister was out of town. I hadn't thrown or seen a party in awhile. Tonight would've been the perfect night for that... I grinned. I slipped on some flipflops and went outside to my car. I was glad the weather was getting warmer. I absolutely loooove summertime. I got in my car and drove off to Wally World. I got everything I needed then called my bestfriend, Conner. Yes, my bestfriend was a guy. I've known Conner since diaper-days. We've always hung out. But sometimes I think he wants to be more than friends. "Hey! What's up?" He answered. "Conner, party at my house tonight. Okay? You can come over now if you want." I said. "Alright. I'll be over in about 30 minuts. Kay?" He said. "Alrighty. See you then!" I said. I pulled up to my driveway and got out of my car. I sent out a text to every one of my contacts. (Except for family, of course.) Everything was set. Tonight would be a blast (:
