There was a little girl in the booth behind me

      "Mommy, where's Daddy?"

Her mom looks down at her daughter with a devastated look on her face and says,

"Well, honey, daddy is still at the hospital. He's getting better than he was before. But eat up and we can go visit him later."

                        And I don't think that little girl saw her mom faking that smile.
