I
followed Dylan out of the crowded party and to his car.
Dylan never drank at parties so I wasn't nervous about
getting in the car with him. The ride was silent until we pulled
into Benny's.
"Ready?" he asked while climbing out of the car.
"Yup." I said following behind him.
The waitress sat us down. Benny's was open 24/7.
"I heard your moving." Dylan said.
"Yeah, to Maryland. My dad got transferred there."
I replied.
"It will be good for you to get out of Califrona."
"What do you mean?"
"This life you lead isn't good for you. You could
get pregnant. Do you want that?"
"Well, no."
"Exactly."
I didn't know what to say after that. I just don't
understand Dylan. He shouldn't worry about how I lead my
life. Lia doesn't even worry and she is my
best friend. We didn't say anything until our food
came.
"Are you OK?" Dylan asked me.
"I don't know. Just deep in thought I guess." I
replied.
"Oh."
He paid the bill and dropped me off at home. Well, that was a
bummer night...
