I walked into my messy room, and plopped down on my bed. I
turned up my iPod stereo and started blasting "Vanilla
Twilight" by Owl City, yeah I know it's an old
song. But whatever, it's one of the only songs that
don't remind me of Trent. I opened up my laptop and
decided to log onto Facebook, there's nothing else to
do anyway. Under online friends I found that my best friend
was online. Well, my old best friend; she moved last year
and almost completely forgot about me. Charlotte made all
kinds of new friends, including a best friend who came to
replace me. I scrolled down the list and found nobody else
to talk to, Whatever. There's never anything to do
without Trent. I looked out my bedroom window, straight to
our swimming pool. My family was happy once, my dad made
sure my mom had her dream house; which included a swimming
pool, completed basement, playset, treehouse, and a hot
tub. We're not poor, my dad makes sure that me and him
are okay. Which always makes me wonder why my brother,
Chris, ran away. I guess some things I'll never
understand. I looked at the beautiful swimming pool again,
I haven't went swimming in ages. I rummaged through all
my drawers and finally found a bikini to go swimming in. I
walked downstairs and out to the backyard where the
swimming pool is. I dove straight into the pool, but
epicly failed at doing so. I surfaced from
under the water and laughed at my own clumsiness. This
reminded me of the one time Trent and I went swimming; We
were at the community pool and he jumped straight into it,
freezing cold water and everything. I was too chicken to
jump in like he did so I just sat on the side of the pool
with my feet inside. Little did I know that Trent would
surface and pull me into the water with him; which was fun
until I found out that I scratched my leg on the way in.
Remembering that made me miss Trent even more. Suddenly I
heard a honk from the front driveway. Hmm, time to
investigate. I wrapped my towel around my body and headed
to the front yard, where I saw a moving truck. I
forgot that we were getting new neighbors this
summer..
