Just
Me
Number 10
I looked over
at the table. He told me that he had plans with his family.
Well, that was such a lie.
"Are you okay?" Evan asked.
"Not really. Brandon told me he had to meet with family.
I'm pretty sure Mackenzie isn't his family." I
said.
"Wow. That was low. Lie to the woman he is going to be
married to." he replied.
Evan was right. Why would he do this to me? I just turned my
attention back
to Evan. We talked a little while longer, ate, and then left.
He drove back to his place. "What are we doing here?" I
asked.
"We are going to watch The Notebook. Unless you don't
want to." he replied.
The Notebook was my favortive movie. Another thing Evan
remembered.
"Yes, Yes, Yes! Of course I want to." I replied. Evan
smiled real big and then blushed. "Good. Let's go
in." he replied. I was excited. Way more excited then I had
been with Brandon lately. I don't know why, but Evan was
making
me really happy today. We walked into his large living room. I
loved Evan's house. It was so big. We got to his den and he
put the DVD in the DVD player. The movie was great, but near the
end I began crying like I always do. I leaned
my head into his shoulder and he stroked the top of my head. I
felt
so comfertable with him. I feel better with him than Brandon. Am
I engaged
to the wrong person?
