Chapter 25c
“Continue,” he urged, his eyebrow still
raised.
How on Earth do I put this? I guess I should just spit it
out, right? “Well, we had to run five laps for
try-outs and I decided I would talk to Austin so that they would
go by faster and easier and whatever. So then I started
talking to him, you know? But I don’t know if I
sounded too girly with the vocabulary I used. I mean I used
the voice you helped me master that sounds almost exactly like
yours, but I’m just worried. Worried that I may have
screwed up your friendship with my boyfriend. Also, he may
think something’s wrong with you because of it so please
reassure him that you’re fine because you are.”
Right after saying all of that I realized that I had said it all
really fast because well Tay looked pretty confused. I hope
he heard it all though because I really did not want to repeat
myself. I think he comprehended the gist of what I was
saying because he said, “Yeah, I’ll go call him
now.”
I
decided I would hang out with Casey because well, she IS my best
friend and I haven’t seen her in a few days.
I’ll let her choose what we do though. And then I
think we should go shopping with Mylie on like Wednesday or
something for school clothes because it starts a week from
Tuesday.
