As the bell rang, and all the kids rushed out of the building, excited a giggling, I was just spacing out. It was the last day of middle school, and no, I did not cry. I'm not going to miss the bad teachers or the snotty rich girls. I'm going to miss him. 6 days ago, I didn't even know his name, but now... everything is different. But wait, let me get you caught up.

 

"Wait for me!" I yell to Kelly, Olivia, and Claire.
We have been best friends since kindergarten, and even through all the drama in the past year, it only brought us closer. Today was 6 days before the last day of school, and to celebrate the last weekend before summer, we were going barbeque and our neighborhood pool.
 "Come on Sophie!" Claire yells back.
I climb into Kelly's mom's car. We're all hyped up, we've each had atleast two cups of coffee. This is the social event of the season, our pool goes all out, and it's amazing. Last year I got my first kiss there, so I figured today would be a good day.

 

When we pulled up to the pool we said our goodbyes to Kelly's mom, and climbed out. We decided we were going to start a game of volleyball, so we went over to the volleyball nets. Now, I don't mean to brag, but I'm on the volleyball team at school, so I'm pretty good. More people were joining around us, because Olivia is also on the team, and we had a great game going. It was my turn to serve, so I yelled "6 serving 4", and swung my hand out behind me. As I did this, I felt my hand hit something behind me. When I turned around, the first thing I saw was abs, covered in soda.
"Oh my gosh... I'm so sorry! Let me get you some napkins!" I splutter.
"No, it's fine", the guys says, laughing.

That's when I looked up at his face, and I went speachless.
