"Give it back!" i said giggling, which is something i
rarely do.
"nope! i need to add my number!" he said smiling and
putting my phone high above my head.
"fine!' i said standing waiting for Christian to add his
number into my phone. we were at homecoming and the football game
had just started, me and Christian were waiting on the bleachers,
for Marci to show up.
"you never smile Muse." he said grabbing my waist making
me jump, and laugh
"there we go! whats with all black?" he said pinching the
sleeve of my shirt
"must you contradict everything i do?!" i said slapping
his shoulder. he laughed, like he always does whenever i hit him. i
guess its funny how weak i am compared to him.
"you also talk so formally...." he said laughing. i
looked away. Christian put his arm around my shoulders and hugged
me. i lost my breathe. boys never hug me. never. this was probably
the first.
"so where is everyone?" he said letting go and looking
over the crowd.
"i dont know..." i said surveying the group around
us.
"Hey! Hey Marci!" said Christian jumping up and running
towards her. i climbed down from the bleachers to meet up with Kim,
Georgia and Juliet. Juliet is one of my best friends since 3rd
grade. she used to hang out with all the popular preppy kids that
tease me. for a while we stopped talking, because i was the creepy
goth girl and she was pretty and preppy. but shes changed. now shes
scene and she self harms. im glad she came, since she never some
out to school events because the preps will most likely be there.
shes also gorgeous which gets her a lot of attention she doesnt
want.
"hey Muse!" she said greeting me with a hug. "have
you seen any skater kids around here?"
"yeah. over there, near the bushes...." i said pointing
in there direction.
"cool, see you guys later i assume?" and she walked
away.
"Hi Marci, what have you been up too?' said Christian
giving her a hug. we all walked around for a while watching the
game, and everytime Christian seemed to sit next to Marci the
whole time. until 3 girls came up to him, that i've never seen
before.
"hi Christian!" said the tall girl. she
had light brown hair and brown eyes.
"Hi Samantha!" and he gave her a big hug. just like the
one he gave me...i no longer felt special at all. He hugged all
three of them, and then they walked away. when it began to get dark
out and the fireworks began a couple of his friends came over.
three of them. they all started talking and having a little
bromance with each other. it was getting cold and i was shivering
at this point.
"i think im going to go home guys. i'll see you all
tomarrow." i said starting to stand up
"here take my jacket." said Christian standing up and
unzipping his jacket.
"no, im fine. i have to go anyway since its dark." i said
walking away. i had to walk home, which was not fun for me. i live
close to the school, so its not very far but when its dark on
a friday night, there are a lot of drunk people in the area and
they are not fun to deal with.
"I'll walk with you." said Christian standing up and
walking in my direction. Marci winked at me.
"No. No its okay its not that far." i said
"Muse, no offense but you're a tiny person, and
people can take advantage of that. I'm a black belt
and I bet everyone would feel a lot better if i came." he
said walking away with me towards the gate of the school.
and that settled it, i was being walked home by the most
perfect guy ever.
