Did I really just tell all of my feelings to Tayden? I feel
so much better but I was supposed to be focusing on his problems
not my own. Oh well, maybe now he’ll share his own
feelings and I won’t have to worry about it.
Thankfully by now we were more than halfway finished with our
stupid laps.
“So, what are you going to do about Mattox and Easton
then?” Tayden shattered my thought with a pretty simple
question.
How was I supposed to answer? I mean, I have no idea what
I’m going to do about him. But that wasn’t the
whole point of this conversation; I was trying to find out why
Tayden was acting so strange. “I’m, uh, not
sure yet. What do you think I should do?” I answered,
deciding that maybe focusing the attention back on Tayden would
do some good.
“You should probably ignore him or just don’t let him
get to you,” replied Tayden easily. But, weirdly
enough that sounds like something a girl would say. I mean,
I’m not judging him or anything since he is, of course, my
best friend, but it doesn’t seem like quite the thing a
male teenager would say. Whatever, he is probably right about
that.
