Human       nature    ,

Is a fragile thing,
Human nature, unfortunately, isn't.
There's only so much we can do
to stop it, the viciousness of it all,
the judgments passed, the rumors spread,
But it doesn't, and never will.
Because people are cruel,
Yet, there's only so much cruelty one can endure,
Until we're pushed to the limits of abuse,
Until the soul begins to burn out,
The pieces grow weaker and weaker,
Until it shatters completely,
