#4-i used to know my place was a spot
next to you
An hour later, we were back in
front of the hotel. We just kinda stood there, looking at each
other. He had his bathing suit on and wasn't wearing a shirt.
He was amazingly gorgeous. He had really sculpted abs. He took a
step closer and for the second time that night, he was closer
than he should have been. He let go of my hand and moved his
hands to my waist. He pulled me in, tighter than he had the last
time. I was looking into his eyes, but avoided them when he
looked at me. He lifted my chin so I had no choice but to look at
him. He smiled and raised an eyebrow, asking me if it was all
right. I bit my lip and nodded. He leaned in further and our lips
met.
I'll never forget that kiss. I swear it was the kind you read
about in books. It felt as if every nerve in my body was on end.
I couldn't think straight. Our lips moved in perfect
synchronization. I melted into him and he held me tighter. After
the kiss ended, i just stood there in his arms with mine around
him.
"It's really late," I said, finally breaking the
silence. I kissed him on the cheek and started to go. He grabbed
my wrist.
"Wait-Kate, look I'm sorry if I took it too fast. I
don't want you to le-"
"Shut up," I smiled. "Please, Matt. This has been
one of the best nights of my life. I'll never forget
it."
He grinned from ear to ear. "I had an amazing time
too," he said. "We should...do this again."
"Yeah...definately." He leaned in and kissed me before
we headed into the hotel. He walked me to my room and kissed me
again there.
